1275cc. This red Metro 1.3, in high-spec HLS trim, was in the same family's ownership from 1982 to 2025. It spent 20 years off the road from 2004 to 2024, but it now has an advisory-free MoT which remains valid to 11th December 2025. The odometer is showing 47,651 miles.
The history file contains the current V5C, a good collection of receipts and MoTs from the early 1980s to 2004, and an owner's handbook. The car was first registered on 28th April 1981, and one of the invoices shows that it was sold a year later for £3775 to a resident of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.
According to howmanyleft.co.uk there are only 10 remaining examples of the Metro HLS licensed for the road, so this has become quite a rare car.
