This Ford Cortina Mk1 was first registered in April 1966, and has been rebuilt for motorsport, with a high level of attention to detail. We're told it was completely stripped back and rebuilt in 2020, and any corrosion was repaired. The underside was then painted in zinc galvanising paint, then stone chip, before the entire car was resprayed in the attractive two-tone grey/blue we see today.
It's many modifications include a 2.0-litre Zetec ST engine with aluminium radiator, uprated brakes, steering, differential, electrics, lowered suspension and a stripped-back interior with bucket seats and roll cage.
The Cortina comes with its current V5C in the vendor's name. We're told that the odometer was zeroed when the car was rebuilt, so the indicated mileage is only 1480. The car has not been MoTed, although it is old enough to be MoT exempt. DVLA records are yet to be updated with the current spec.
